This Monday, Supergirl is all-new with a returning villain from Season 1. Livewire (played once again by guest star Brit Morgan) will escape from prison to wreak havoc on National City.

Of course, her nemesis Cat Grant is no longer around, so who knows what nefarious plan she’ll concoct this time (unless Calista Flockhart filmed a secret cameo, which would be amazing).

The episode, ‘We Can Be Heroes,’ also features the long-awaited reveal of Guardian’s real identity to Kara.

The CW has released a full gallery of images from the upcoming episode, with several new looks at Livewire and what may actually be the pivotal James/Kara scene itself:

There are also a few, shall we say “intimate,” moments between Kara and Mon-El. Might we be seeing a new chapter in their relationship?

And speaking of Mon-El, what’s up with the weird black get-up and the glasses? Is that his official superhero outfit? If so, it’s definitely… different.

Here’s the official synopsis for ‘We Can Be Heroes’:

After Livewire (guest star Brit Morgan) seemingly breaks out of prison, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) is intent on recapturing her. After training Mon-El (Chris Wood), Supergirl takes him with her when she sees Livewire attack the NCPD but things go awry when Mon-El puts Supergirl before the citizens of National City. Meanwhile, James (Mehcad Brooks) decides to come clean with Kara, and M’Gann (guest star Sharon Leal) has a psychic attack and collapses into a coma.

Supergirl episode 2×10 ‘We Can Be Heroes’ airs Monday, January 30 at 8/7c on The CW.
