First of all, I’d like to give a huge congratulations to you all for successfully surviving another winter hiatus! All four shows will be returning starting on Monday night. We already have some awesome episodes to look forward to in the first two weeks back with the returns of Livewire (Brit Morgan) and Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) and the arrivals of Gypsy (Jessica Camacho) and Talia al Ghul (Lexa Doig). Synopses for the next batch of episodes just got released and certain characters will be facing some life-or-death situations!

Starting on the February 6th episode of Supergirl, M’gann’s (Sharon Leal) past will come back to bite her in ‘The Martian Chronicles’, directed by David McWhirter and written by Gabriel Llanas and Anna Musky-Goldwyn.

WHITE MARTIANS ATTACK THE DEO — Armek (guest star Terrell Tilford), a White Martian, descends on National City intent on taking M’gann back to Mars to face her punishment as a traitor. Hank (David Harewood) and Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) determine the best way to keep M’Gann safe is to bring her to the DEO. However, when it is revealed that Armek shape-shifted into M’gann and is now loose in the building, the team realize he could be disguised as any one of them.

The synopsis for this episode of The Flash is interesting because it involves the guy who was temporarily framed for Iris’ murder in the comics! Find out if Iris (Candice Patton) survives another brush with death in ‘Untouchable’, directed by Rob Hardy and written by Brooke Roberts and Judalina Neira.

THE TOUCH OF DEATH – Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs work together to bring down Clive Yorkin (guest star Matthew Kevin Anderson), a criminal meta-human who is methodically killing people by causing them to decompose at an accelerated rate. Joe (Jesse L. Martin) becomes his next target but it’s Iris who is caught in the crossfire. The Flash mentors Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) and begins to elevate the newer speedster’s training to another level. Rob Hardy directed the episode written by Brooke Roberts & Judalina Neira (FLA312). Original airdate 2/7/2017.

While they may have their captain back, Sara’s (Caity Lotz) still calling the shots! The Legends will meet our nation’s first president in ‘Turncoat’, directed by Alice Troughton and written by Grainne Godfree and Matthew Maala.

A GOOD FIGHT — When The Legends find a new Time Aberration they learn they must travel to the winter of 1776 to protect George Washington and the American Revolutionary War. Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned, forcing Sara to send out Nate (Nick Zano) and Amaya (Maisie-Richardson-Sellers) to help. Meanwhile, Jax (Franz Drameh) and Stein (Victor Garber) who are busy protecting the incapacitated Waverider from their new enemy, are forced to step into roles that they don’t think they are prepared for. Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell and Arthur Darvill also star.

Does what happens in Russia still stay in Russia? Team Arrow will soon learn when they head back in ‘Bratva’, directed by Ben Bray and written by Oscar Valderrama and Emilio Ortega Aldrich.

OLVIER RETURNS TO RUSSIA — A mission takes Oliver (Stephen Amell), Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and team to Russia where they meet up with Oliver’s old friend, Anatoly (guest star David Nykl). Meanwhile, fresh out of rehab, Lance (Paul Blackthorne) returns to the mayor’s office ready to get back to work. However, when Susan (guest star Carly Pope) asks for an interview with Lance to discuss his addiction, he balks and it’s up to Rene (guest star Rick Gonzalez) to help keep things on track.

Supergirl returns with ‘Supergirl Lives’ on January 23rd at 8/7c, The Flash returns with ‘Borrowing Problems from the Future’ on January 24th at 8/7c, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow returns immediately after with ‘Raiders of the Lost Art’ at 9/8c, and Arrow returns with ‘Who Are You?’ on January 25th at 8/7c all on The CW.
