So far, we’ve only heard about one thing regarding the upcoming Supergirl/The Flash musical crossover: the villain will be the highly speculated Music Meister. Today, however, tons of new information about the highly anticipated event was released. Let’s start at the top, shall we?

The crossover will take place on Supergirl‘s March 20th episode (2×16) and The Flash‘s March 21st episode (3×17). However, exactly like with “Heroes vs. Aliens”, only the very end of the Supergirl episode will be getting the crossover treatment. The majority of the music will be sung over on The Flash in an episode appropriately titled ‘Duet’, directed by Dermott Downs.

Which lucky heroes from Earth-38 will get to make their way over to Earth-1? Well, for starters, David Harewood’s J’onn J’onzz and Chris Wood’s Mon-El. However, these two characters will not be affected by the Music Meister, so don’t expect the Martian and Daxamite to start busting out show tunes!

That leaves, obviously, the Girl of Steel herself, Melissa Benoist…

…and her best friend, Winn Schott, Broadway icon Jeremy Jordan!

As for Team Flash, the two people surprisingly not lending their voices to the episode are Tom Cavanagh (H.R. Wells) and Keiynan Lonsdale (Wally West). However, three other musical theatre vets will be singing their hearts out! The first is, again obviously, our Scarlett Speedster, Grant Gustin…

…Detective Joe West, Broadway legend Jesse L. Martin…

…and soon-to-be superhero, Cisco Ramon, Tha Los (Carlos’ musical moniker)!

However…that’s not all!!! One Legend and one Legion of Doom member will be whammied by the musical menace, as well. What they’re doing in Central City, though, we’ll just have to wait and find out! The lucky men are none other than Professor Martin Stein, the one and only Victor Garber…

…and Malcolm Merlyn, the golden-voiced John Barrowman!

And that’s it! Who are you most excited to see break out into song? Any wish list items regarding songs or duets? (My personal dream is for a duet featuring our tech nerds, Winn and Cisco!)

Supergirl returns with the Kevin Smith-directed ‘Supergirl Lives’ on January 23rd and The Flash returns with ‘Borrowing Problems from the Future’ on January 24th both at 8/7c on The CW.
