Are you excited for the return of the Arrowverse? We’re only a few days away now, and we’ve got new trailers for both The Flash and Arrow.

Last week, The CW released new extended trailers for the midseason premieres of both Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow. This week, the network put out new trailers promoting the returning episodes of Arrow and The Flash.

Arrow – ‘Who Are You?’ Extended Trailer

Up first is this new trailer for the Arrow midseason premiere, focusing heavily on the return of Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy):

“Time travel”? Is that the story she’s selling you guys? I think the previous trailer made it pretty clear what’s really going on here.

Here’s the full synopsis for ‘Who Are You?’:

OLIVER WANTS JUSTICE; FELICITY WANTS REVENGE — Worried that Prometheus is right and he is truly a killer at heart, Oliver (Stephen Amell) looks for any ray of hope and finds it in what seems to be the miraculous return of Laurel Lance (guest star Katie Cassidy).

However, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), still reeling from Detective Malone’s murder, is bent on revenge – she wants to stop Prometheus at any cost. While in prison, Diggle (David Ramsey) fights for his life.

The Flash – ‘Borrowing Problems From The Future’ Extended Trailer

In this new Flash trailer, we get a few new bits of footage. There’s Caitlin worrying about her powers, H.R. making a toast to Barry and Iris, and more:

Here’s the full synopsis for ‘Borrowing Problems From The Future’:

BARRY FIGHTS FOR IRIS — Barry (Grant Gustin) is tormented by his vision of the future where Iris (Candice Patton) is murdered by Savitar. When a criminal named Plunder (guest star Stephen Huszar) shows up in Central City, Barry recalls the villain’s presence in his vision of the future and fears that if he catches Plunder, it will cement Iris’ fate. Confused about Barry’s hesitation to stop Plunder, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) decides to step in as Kid Flash. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) offers Julian (Tom Felton) a job.

Midseason Sizzle Reel

In addition to the two new extended trailers, The CW also released a new video promoting the midseason premieres of all of their returning shows. There are a few specially-filmed shots from Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow, but it’s mostly (if not entirely) the same footage from the earlier fall promo:

The Flash returns next Tuesday, January 24 at 8/7c on The CW. Arrow returns the next night, Wednesday, January 25 at the same time and network.
