The Thanksgiving hiatus for Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow is finally over and we are now only three days away from the first episode of the long-awaited four-way crossover, ‘Heroes Vs. Aliens’. Two days ago, after several different smaller promos, The CW released the official full-length trailer for the event and, boy, does it look epic in every sense of the word.
The Dominators’ spaceship, Kara (Melissa Benoist) meeting Mick (Dominic Purcell), Oliver (Stephen Amell) in a mind-control pod, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) on the Waverider, Green Arrow vs. White Canary (Caity Lotz), Supergirl and The Flash (Grant Gustin) teaming up once more, Firestorm (Franz Drameh) trying to transmute the spaceship, Diggle (David Ramsey) in Oliver’s suit, and several different incredible shots of The CW’s very own version of the Justice League of America… This crossover looks like everything we ever could’ve hoped for. Check out the insane trailer below:
Next up are two sneak peeks from Monday’s episode of Supergirl, ‘Medusa’. The first one brings us back to Kara’s apartment for Thanksgiving dinner once again. During the Danvers’ family tradition of everyone saying what they’re thankful for, James (Mehcad Brooks) is about to reveal to Kara that he’s Guardian but is interrupted by Mon-El’s (Chris Wood) speech to her and Alex (Chyler Leigh) is about to (drunkenly) come out to her mother (Helen Slater)…when a breach opens over the table. Horrible timing, Cisco…
In the second sneak peek, Mon-El sees Hank (David Harewood) at the alien bar…only to find out that it’s Cyborg Superman and not J’onn. While they fight outside, Medusa–the virus meant to kill aliens–is released inside.
Finally, some awesome news was announced today via ComicBook.com. All four episodes of the crossover will have extended runtimes (so set your DVRs accordingly)! Supergirl will run an additional 35 seconds, The Flash will run an additional 50 seconds, Arrow will run an additional 40 seconds, and Legends of Tomorrow will run an additional 45 seconds.
As always, we’ll post information whenever it’s released so keep your eyes peeled this weekend! ‘Heroes vs. Aliens’ begins with ‘Medusa’ on November 28th, followed by the three parts of ‘Invasion!’ on November 29th, November 30th, and December 1st, all at 8/7c on The CW.
