Wow. That was fast. Just one day after the crossover synopses were released, The CW releases the synopses for the The FlashArrow, and Legends of Tomorrow‘s mid-season finales. Merry early Christmas, everyone!

The Flash Family officially assembles to take down the God of Speed himself in ‘The Present’, directed by Rachel Talalay and written by Lauren Certo with a story by Aaron and Todd Helbing.

BARRY SEEKS HELP FROM JAY GARRICK — With Alchemy and Savitar still looming threats, Barry (Grant Gustin) is unable to focus on the Christmas holiday, and especially his relationship with Iris (Candice Patton). Determined to stop Savitar, Barry goes to Earth-3 to get advice from Jay Garrick (guest star John Wesley Shipp). Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) wants to help Barry fight Savitar and reveals that he’s been training with H.R. (Tom Cavanagh), which doesn’t go over well with Barry. As Cisco (Carlos Valdes) faces his first Christmas without his brother Dante (guest star Nicholas Gonzalez), old wounds are reopened.

Team Arrow learns just how threatening Prometheus really is in ‘What We Leave Behind’, directed by Antonio Negret and written by Wendy Mericle and Beth Schwartz.

PROMETHEUS MAKES A DEADLY MOVE AGAINST OLIVER AND THE TEAM — After Prometheus attacks Curtis (Echo Kellum), Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes Prometheus knows all of Team Arrow’s secret identities and is planning to come for them one by one. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Detective Malone (guest star Tyler Ritter) discover a clue that links Prometheus to Oliver’s past.

Finally, Leonard Snart (Wentworth Miller) and Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) join the Legion of Doom in ‘The Chicago Way’, directed by Ralph Hemecker and written by Sarah Nicole Jones and Ray Utarnachitt.

LEGION OF DOOM — When a new Time Aberration is discovered by the Legends, they find themselves headed to 1927 Chicago. The Legends quickly realize that they have been set up by Eobard Thawne (guest star Matt Letscher), Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) and the newest member of the Legion of Doom, Malcolm Merlyn (guest star John Barrowman). While everyone is trying to help fix what they think is the mission, Jax (Franz Drameh) encourages a reluctant Stein (Victor Garber) to share his secret with the other Legends. Stein is taken captive and Sara (Caity Lotz) must make the tough choice of either stopping the Legion of Doom or saving Stein. Meanwhile, Rory (Dominic Purcell) gets an unexpected visitor and is not sure how to handle it. Brandon Routh, Nick Zano and Maisie Richardson-Sellers also star.

All three episodes will air the week after the crossover. No word yet on Supergirl‘s mid-season finale, but we’ll be sure to share the synopsis with you as soon as it’s released. However, there is the possibility that crossover episode, ‘Medusa’, is the show’s mid-season finale, considering the fact that it doesn’t bare the same title as the other three episodes. No matter, keep it here to stay updated on the latest news and until then, make sure to tune in to ‘Killer Frost’ on November 22nd, ‘Invasion!’ Part 2 on November 30th, and ‘Invasion!’ Part 3 all at 8/7c on The CW.
