It’s Monday, which means it’s time for another all-new episode of Supergirl! Tonight’s episode, 2×06 ‘Changing,’ will see James Olsen fully embracing his new superhero identity, The Guardian.

The CW has released several clips for the episode, and we also have the full synopsis and official trailer to get you up to speed.

‘Changing’ Sneak Peek #1

This first scene looks like something straight out of John Carpenter’s The Thing. It features Alex and Hank infiltrating a gruesome crime scene:

The second scene from tonight’s episode seems to preface the first clip. Hank and Alex bring an inebriated Kara back to the DEO just in time for Winn to give them some intriguing news:

The third clip released today starts with snippets of the first two scenes, then brings in some commentary from Supergirl producer Ali Adler. We’re introduced to classic DC Superman villain The Parasite, and we get a tease about Alex’s new steps in her personal life:

THE GUARDIAN DEBUTS IN NATIONAL CITY – The Guardian debuts to lend a hand after a parasite alien drains Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) of her power. Mon-El (Chris Wood) considers a less than desirable new career which then leads him to contemplate his motives. Alex (Chyler Leigh) struggles with a new reality.
