At the end of this week’s episode of Supergirl, Kara (Melissa Benoist) asked J’onn (David Harewood) to release Mon-El (Chris Wood) into her custody. The Girl of Steel will be taking the Daxamite under her wing, so what exactly does that include? Apparently, like her cousin and her, donning a pair of glasses and going to work for a news agency. Mon-El will be taking on the alias of “Mike” and interning at CatCo where Kara can keep an eye on him.
Other things Kara will be dealing with next week: Lena (Katie McGrath) who invites her to an L-Corp fundraiser and a gang that possesses alien technology. Not surprisingly, Kara’s two worlds will begin to collide. The fairly large photo gallery for the episode includes some fun shots of all the above and showcases the blossoming relationship between Maggie (Floriana Lima) and Alex (Chyler Leigh).
While we still have to wait four more days for the new episode, something we can enjoy in its entirety now is the gorgeous batch of season posters that were released earlier this week. Shots include Supergirl/Kara Danvers, Martian Manhunter/Hank Henshaw, Alex Danvers, Winn Schott (Jeremy Jordan), James Olsen (Mehcad Brooks), and, surprisingly, Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart).
Tune in to ‘Crossfire’ on November 7th at 8/7c on The CW.
