Mystery solved! The reason we were unable to locate a synopsis for The Flash last week is because it’ll be taking its first hiatus after ‘Monster’ airs next week. …But boy, oh boy, is there a great episode to look forward to when it returns…

A common theme throughout the majority of this week’s new batch of synopses is identity. Tonight on Legends of Tomorrow, Ray (Brandon Routh) discovered that he can be a hero without his armor, Nate (Nick Zano) realized that he’s always been one, and Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) realized that you can’t judge a book by its cover. In the week after Veterans Day, several more characters will be contemplating how they want to live their lives.

CatCo’s new CEO, James (Mehcad Brooks), will be suiting up for the very first time as The Guardian in ‘Changing’, directed by Larry Teng and written by Andrew Kreisberg and Caitlin Parrish based on a story by Greg Berlanti. Could this also be the episode where Alex (Chyler Leigh) realizes her completely obvious feelings for Maggie (Floriana Lima)?

THE GUARDIAN DEBUTS IN NATIONAL CITY – The Guardian debuts to lend a hand after a parasite alien drains Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) of her power. Mon-El (Chris Wood) considers a less than desirable new career which then leads him to contemplate his motives. Alex (Chyler Leigh) struggles with a new reality.

BossLogic made an edit of it. I even wrote a fanfic about it. It’s the theory that almost broke the Internet…and it’s coming true after the hiatus. Dr. Alchemy (Tobin Bell) will finally be targeting Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) in ‘Shade’, directed by stunt coordinator JJ Makaro and written by Emily Silver and David Kob.

WALLY HAS VISIONS OF BEING KID FLASH — When Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) starts having dreams about being Kid Flash, Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes he has to tell Wally, Iris (Candice Patton) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) about what happened to Wally in Flashpoint in order to keep him safe.

Earlier today, we posted an article about Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra). If you haven’t read it yet, you might want to now. Star City’s new DA will also be suiting up as Vigilante in…’Vigilante’, directed by Gordon Verheul and written by Ben Sokolowski and Emilio Ortega Aldrich.

DOLPH LUNDGREN “ROCKY” GUEST STARS – When the bodies of two criminals are dropped at SCPD, Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes there is a new Vigilante in Star City. The team is split about whether they should stop someone who is helping keep the city safe. Diggle (David Ramsey) is frustrated with his new situation and Thea (Willa Holland) fights for Lance (Paul Blackthorne) who confesses a shocking secret. Meanwhile, in the flashbacks, Oliver finally sits down with Konstantin Kovar (guest star Dolph Lundgren).

Finally, it’s the return of everyone’s favorite cowboy! The Legends will reunite with Jonah Hex (Johnathon Schaech) in ‘Outlaw Country’, directed by Cherie Nowlan and written by Matthew Maala and Chris Fedak.

STRENGTH AND WEAKNESS — The Legends are still reeling from the news that their time travel-nemesis is a speedster when they are alerted to an Aberration in the Old West. When the Legends arrive they find their old friend Jonah Hex (guest star Johnathon Schaech) in trouble with his arch-nemesis, Quentin Turnbull (guest star Jeff Fahey). The team soon discovers that they need to stop Turnbull and his gang from conquering the West and branding it his own lawless territory. To Hex’s surprise, Sara (Caity Lotz) is in charge and dispatches the team. Rory (Dominic Purcell) is ecstatic to be in the Wild West, but Sara makes Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) work with him to keep him on task, which is easier said than done. Meanwhile, Nate (Nick Zano), Ray (Brandon Routh) and Jax (Franz Drameh) try to infiltrate Turnball’s gang, but find themselves in a shootout leaving Nate’s confidence shaken. Victor Garber also stars.

Supergirl returns with ‘Survivors’ on October 31st, The Flash returns with ‘Monster’ on November 1st, Arrow returns with ‘Human Target’ on November 2nd, and Legends returns with ‘Abominations’ on November 3rd all at 8/7c on The CW.
