We’re currently less than two weeks away from the season premieres of The Flash and Arrow and fans are scouring the Internet for any clues as to what we might be seeing on those shows in the upcoming weeks.

As we speak, Kevin Smith is directing episode 3×07 of The Flash. A week ago, Smith posted a photo of the front page of the script and tried his best to obscure the title. A valiant attempt but to no avail. The words “Killer Frost” were just slightly visible on the top of the second page. There has still yet to be any official confirmation that this is the title of the episode. However, Smith took to Instagram today to post about Day 7 on set and very well may have added fuel to the fire. It seemed like an ordinary, sentimental post…until I read the final sentence: “there are some really killer performances in Season 3, Episode 7…” Is this just him praising the cast as he’s been doing for the past few months…or a hint at something more “frosty” to come?

Another Instagram post of Smith’s worth sharing is this photo of Smith, Tom Cavanagh, and his stunt double, Brent Connolly, from yesterday. What version of Harrison Wells would ever wear something like this? (Certainly not Eobard Thawne or Harry…right?) All theories are welcome.

Moving on from Central to Star City, Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim posted a photo on Twitter today that is sure to leave fans’ heads spinning.

Seemingly a regular photo…until you realize who’s sitting between Joe Dinicol (Rory Regan) and Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen): Jamey Sheridan, aka Robert Queen. Yes. You read that right. Oliver’s father who died prior to the series beginning. And, once again, this wouldn’t be so surprising given the nature of the Berlanti-verse…except that Guggenheim clearly states that this episode isn’t within the world of the Flashpoint Paradox and does not include flashbacks. Is this one of the many repercussions Flashpoint will have on the universe or something else entirely? Only time will tell.

Speaking of repercussions of Flashpoint (…possibly…), David Ramsey (John Diggle) announced at Heroes & Villains FanFest in Orlando this past weekend that the story of Legends of Tomorrow‘s Connor Hawke, aka John Diggle, Jr., (Joseph David-Jones) will carry over into Season 5 of Arrow. And, finally, Amell treated fans to a dialogue tease from the highly anticipated 100th episode: “Thea, we can’t stay here…” Make of that what you will.

The Flash returns for its third season on October 4th at 8/7c and Arrow returns for its fifth season on October 5th at 8/7c on The CW.
