First trailer for ‘Wonder Woman,’ first look at ‘Justice League,’ new ‘Batman’ details, ‘Suicide Squad,’ & more!

This afternoon, Warner Bros. Pictures took over the fabled Hall H to present sneak peeks at this upcoming DC Extended Universe slate. The panels were fast and furious, but we did get new looks and fresh insight into all of the upcoming films.

First up, moderator Conan O’Brien confirmed that Ben Affleck will direct an upcoming Batman solo movie (starring himself, of course).

Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, and director Patty Jenkins were on hand to talk about next summer’s Wonder Woman film. The panel concluded with the first epic trailer for the movie, which will open on June 2, 2017:

Next up, Zack Synder appeared with the assembled cast of the Justice League movie: Henry Cavill (Superman), Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ezra Miller (The Flash), and Ray Fisher (Cyborg).

The panel debuted our first full look at the characters (via the image at the top of this story), and concluded with a sizzle reel of footage from the film:

Justice League is looking pretty good, even if we’re still not totally onboard with a separate Barry Allen existing while The Flash is still on the air. The film will be in theaters November 17, 2017.

Last, but not least, the cast of Suicide Squad took to the stage. After a few minutes of talking (including more info on the off-putting “gifts” given to the other cast members by Jared Leto’s Joker), the panel concluded with a final, “remix” trailer:

Suicide Squad hits theaters in just two weeks, on Friday, August 5.

Coming up later today, at 3:30 PST, the CW DC Universe shows will take the stage in Ballroom 20, starting with Supergirl, then Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, and Arrow. It’s already been confirmed that we’ll see a first trailer for Arrow Season 5 and a sizzle reel for The Flash Season 3.
