‘Arrow,’ ‘The Flash,’ and ‘Supergirl’ stars teach Conan O’Brien about the rigors of being a superhero
San Diego Comic-Con is upon us, and once again, Conan O’Brien has brought his TBS show to the convention for a special week of shows. Last night was a real treat for Arrowverse fans, as Conan played host to Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl stars Stephen Amell, Grant Gustin, and Melissa Benoist.
In case you missed it, you can now watch the full episode at the TeamCoco website. Comedian Nick Kroll also stops by to talk about his upcoming R-rated animated comedy Sausage Party, and “Weird Al” Yankovic performs his Lorde parody, “Foil.”
In addition, the show has also posted several of the best moments on YouTube. The video at the top of this page features the three stars demonstrating “The CW Eye,” a nickname for the smoldering, stoic pose favored by many a publicity photo from the network. Conan abstains from offering his own take, but co-host Andy Richter gives Amell, Gustin, and Benoist a run for their money.
This second clip has Amell explaining the “two seasons” of superhero suits after Conan shows off the horrific sweat stains left from his own four minute stint as a hero:
And finally, though Amell, Gustin, and Benoist are not featured in this video, you owe to yourself to check out Conan’s visit to Ironhead Studios where he debuts his own aforementioned superhero suit:
Amell, Gustin, and Benoist will join their co-stars onstage tomorrow for back-to-back panels for Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl — along with DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Be sure to follow us on Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr for all the latest Comic-Con updates and news.
