John Diggle actor David Ramsey teases new helmet and a rekindled relationship in Season 5

Olicity fans, rejoice! Anti-Olicity fans…prepare to mourn. According to Arrow star David Ramsey, the on-again/off-again relationship between Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak will be back on when the show returns for Season 5.

Ramsey was a guest at Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in New Jersey this weekend, and revealed some new information about the upcoming season. Website Fangirlish quoted Ramsey on Twitter as saying “We can expect death, mayhem, AND OLIVER AND FELICITY GETTING BACK TOGETHER!”

As with anything relating to Oliver, Felicity, and the Olicity relationship, this news is sure to be met with a mix of excitement and outrage. Those in the Olicity camp had petitioned for years to have the two enter into a relationship, while those who identify as Anti-Olicity blame the focus on Felicity for “ruining” the show. And while the two were together for a while on the show, they eventually split and their relationship became fractious.

Ramsey also revealed that Diggle will be getting a new helmet in Season 5, designed by The Flash‘s Cisco Ramon:

This is welcome news, as Diggle’s Season 4 helmet was almost universally reviled. This also seemingly confirms that Diggle will return to Team Arrow at some point. There was never any doubt that Ramsey would remain on the show, but with Diggle’s decision to re-enlist in the military at the end of the Season 4 finale, there was concern whether he would return to the fold or not.
