The CW looks to capitalize on the four DC superhero shows now dominating their lineup
Fresh off their annual upfront presentation to advertisers this morning, The CW has released a bevy of new trailers for their fall shows, including new teasers for Supergirl and a trailer celebrating all four DC superhero shows.
Neither trailer features any new footage, as the fall seasons haven’t begun filming. But they convey the excitement of having Supergirl join Arrow, The Flash, Vixen, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow next season.
“The Superheroes of The CW” trailer (above) showcases all four shows, especially moments from the Supergirl/The Flash crossover episode, “Worlds Finest.”
The Supergirl teaser is much shorter and is really just celebrating the show’s move to The CW, where it will feel much more at home:
A number of stars from The CW’s superhero shows were onstage at the upfront presentation: Melissa Benoist, Stephen Amell, Grant Gustin, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Victor Garber, Caity Lotz, and Brandon Routh were gathered together to promote the fall season:

Supergirl joins The CW this fall in its same time slot, Mondays at 8/7c. That gives the CW a powerhouse of four DC superhero shows in a row, all airing at 8/7c (The Flash on Tuesdays, Arrow on Wednesdays, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow on Thursdays).
