Producers looking for a “charming” new adversary for Arrow’s next season
With Arrow‘s fourth season yet to end for a few more weeks, it’s hard to believe we’re already talking about next year. But production ended a few weeks ago, and there are only around two more months before filming will begin on Season Five.
TVLine has an exclusive report on a new casting call put out by Arrow‘s producers, which seems almost certain to be for Season Five’s ongoing villain.
The role is for a series regular named “James” (though there’s an extremely high chance this is just a code name for the casting sheet), an “irrepressibly charming” peer of Oliver Queen who is “a man on a mission” out “to avenge a tragic, violent loss from his own, years-ago past.”
…just as easily shake your hand as your best friend or break your neck as your worst enemy — and you never know which one is coming. Either way, he’s more than capable of having a good time as he does it.
The producers are seeking an actor who is physically intimidating, late 20s-30s in age, and of any ethnicity. The casting call describes “James” as “just as easily shake your hand as your best friend or break your neck as your worst enemy — and you never know which one is coming. Either way, he’s more than capable of having a good time as he does it.”
Fans are having a field day across the internet trying to speculate which DC Comics character this could be. We’re sure to learn more once we approach the Season Five start of production.
