Oliver Queen actor trades his bow and arrow for a hockey stick as fan favorite Casey Jones
Paramount Pictures has released two new TV spots today for their upcoming film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. It’s a sequel to 2014’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot and stars Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Brian Tee, Tyler Perry, Johnny Knoxville, Tony Shalhoub, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Gary Anthony Williams, WWE Superstar Sheamus, Brittany Ishibashi, Laura Linney and William Fichtner.
Of interest to Arrow fans, though, is the addition of series star Stephen Amell as the hockey mask wearing vigilante, Casey Jones. Amell has been enthusiastic about the film on Twitter, tweeting just last week about seeing some of the near-finished footage:
Did some #TMNT2 dubbing today. Saw myself on the screen with the (nearly) completed Turtles. Wow! Feeling like a lucky guy.

Amell is featured prominently in the first new TV spot, with several bits of new dialogue:
The second new TV spot features a few glimpses of Amell as Casey Jones, but is more frenetic and action-packed:
Here’s the synopsis for the new flick:
The Turtles come into conflict with T.C.R.I. scientist Dr. Baxter Stockman and the return of their enemy, The Shredder, who has hired Stockman to create mutants of his own in the form of Bebop and Rocksteady. Meanwhile, an invasion above New York City is led by the Dimension X inhabitant known as Krang. The Turtles are joined in the fight with Splinter, and their human friends April O’Neil, Vern Fenwick and the vigilante Casey Jones.
