Actors Caity Lotz and Brandon Routh tease new crossover possibilities and the arrival of the JSA in ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Season 2
While Arrow and The Flash regularly feature small crossover references between themselves, Legends of Tomorrow has been the ultimate crossover show from the beginning. Made up of supporting cast members from both shows, Legends frequently had crossover appearances throughout its first season. And if the show’s cast has their way, those crossovers will continue to grow.
Actress Caity Lotz (Sara Lance/White Canary) appeared on a new episode of DC All Access this week to share her thoughts on upcoming crossover possibilities:
“The crossover thing is, like, super exciting that we can do that, and I hope, you know, I want to go over to Arrow more, I want to go to Flash. I want to get everybody, like, onto our show. Bring Grant [Gustin], you know, bring Stephen [Amell] back on, let’s have like Danielle Panabaker come on.”
Of course, The CW has already confirmed plans for a four-way crossover between Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl, but that may not include the appearances that Lotz is hoping for, so there’s always room for more cross-franchise synergy.
Also appearing on DC All Access, actor Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer/Atom) teased the arrival of the Justice League of America next season:
“Well I can’t tell you everything, but I think there’s going to be some nice fun changes. You know, we’re not chasing [Vandal] Savage, so we may not have the, you know, the pressure every episode, so we’ll have a little more time to breath, have fun, have more camaraderie, and a few new cast members possibly. We have the presence of the JSA coming in. Patrick Adams appears and tells us about this group that we have no idea about, and that’s kind of the teaser we leave off, and we’ll discover that in season 2, apparently.”
“I think the characters that we have in the Arrow-verse that we haven’t seen yet. We have a host of characters who haven’t been on the show, and then we’ll go back and discover all the JSA.”
